July has arrived! We have had a quite a wet June here and Castle and the rivers and creeks are still very high. There is still a lovely stream of water still running through Shot Gun and most of the tributaries are still flowing. The Bear Grass is growing like crazy and some say that this means that the winter is going to be very snowy!

Castle has already celebrated 3 weddings in the Lodge this summer! The first wedding at the end of May was a bit chilly but thankfully not snowing, so they opted to have their ceremony inside with some lovely spring flowers. The sun did come out for some beautiful photos! The second wedding was decorated by Simply Surreal Events from Lethbridge and the Lodge and the Bride looked amazing. The third wedding this past weekend was a couple from Calgary, it poured rain just before the ceremony but luckly the Bride was running a bit late and the sun came out just in time for the ceremony!

We wish all the wedding couples all the best for their futures and we are looking forward to more weddings in August. Here are a few photos for those of you who have never seen the Lodge or Castle in the summer!
