Bruce should have won an award for best snowboard instructor! I've brought 3 friends to Castle just to get lessons from him. Great guy....great teaching style...from newbie to advanced he can adapt very well.

Anyway just wanted to put in a plug for him...he's a major draw to your mountain.

Hey Castle,

Just a few comments on our wonderful mountain. Lifties are awesome this year. Really appreciate them assisting my kids on the chair and such.

Instructors - James is a great snowboard instructor for my little 9 year old girl. However for two weeks in a row my daughter's class has started late, in fact they were 30 minutes late last weekend. Please help.

Grooming - For the most part the hill is great considering the amount of snow we have. However...if they can move truck loads of snow to keep a mountain open at the Olympics do you think Castle could move snow to cover up the small patches showing. Ask yourself if you had a retail shop with a broken window, would you use duct tape to hold the glass in for all your patrons to witness? This is what the base of blue looks like just across from the 2nd tower...we have plenty of snow to push around and cover up these blemishes that the general public will take away as they speak about their day at Castle..."great day but you should have seen the bare spots..." It is the little things that make a difference.

Kind regards,

c

Just wanted to say a big thanks to the girls in Guest Services. I lost my chipped key for my truck on the hill and the girls were very helpful. They used their contacts to help me get a tow truck and were extremely kind throughout the afternoon of phone calls.

Also, one of the maintenance guys broke into our truck for us so we could get out stuff out. Thanks very much.

I don't mean to be negative but the guys in the ski hut (across from the day lodge) or whatever its called are another story. No help at all! They didn't care about my situation at all and wouldn't even lend out a screw driver.

Overall, the staff at Castle were very helpful during my predicament. Thanks again!
