Extreme(ly awesome) Skiing

Thank you Mother Nature! Wow, this weekends dump seemed like a gift from the heavens and boy, did we need it. Things were getting a bit solid but with the newly added snow, we are looking a lot better off. The far chutes in particular were quite difficult to get into before the snow fell. Good news for me as it takes that hike into them out of the picture. Those rocks are a bit intimidating! If you get a chance and are in for a challenge, take a look out that way. It takes a couple runs to get used to the terrain and its various hazards (cliffs, trees, rocks, etc) but its soft and deep. At the end of the day on Sunday, I was getting face shots on every turn. Everything past High Rustler was closed today, leaving it untracked out there. With the wind we've been seeing up top today, it'll clear everything out and leave us with mid week windsift!

Enjoy the snow!
