Spring Fest!

Hey everyone! It's the best (and worst) time of the year! Spring Fest! Right now, we are looking at some snow expected for this week and a sunny end to the last weekend of the season. Castle has a great line up of events to celebrate the end of another great winter and the start of spring! On Saturday, we will have live music playing throughout the base, weather permitting of course as well as Snowball Boot Toss running from 11am to 2pm, with face painting going on at the same time. 2pm brings around the Slush Pit for skiers and snowboarders, another great classic Spring Fest event. At 3pm, we will have the Cardboard Canoe Challenge. If you are interested in this event, and you should be, this is open to everyone. You are to build a cardboard contraption using only cardboard and duct tape. Register up in the day lodge and be prepared to get wet! Bring a helmet please! At 3.30pm, a Snowshoe adventure will be heading down Haig Mountain. $10 and pre registration is required. You can also rent snowshoes from our rental shop. Starting at 9pm, Texas Flood will be rocking the Day Lodge! Sunday brings about an afternoon BBQ and a Rail & Jump Jam from 1pm-4pm. At 4pm, you are invited to take a scenic Cat Ride for $45, pre registration is required. On Monday, we have an Easter Egg hunt for everyone! At 10am, send the kids down to the Trail Map as we have a very fun hunt for them! At 11.30, bring yourselves down for the Extreme Easter Egg hunt! Bring skis or a snowboard and meet at the trail map for clues! Keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny Monday as well! Come join for our last action packed weekend at Castle Mountain!
