The Castle and Castle Communities big summer event, Huckleberry Festival is gearing up for another awesome event.  Every year at the end of August the Blue "Sundance" chair starts up for one day only to give eager berry pickers a lift up Gravenstafel Mountain (the main mountain) Gravenstafel is home to thousands of Huckleberry bushes that are plentiful with scrumptious Huckleberries!  There aren't too many places in Alberta that you can pick Huckleberries so this is quiet a special event. 

The day is focused around the berries but there are numerous other things happening to keep the whole family entertained!  Check out the schedule of events here. 

Live music on the outdoor stage starts at 2pm, there is lots of food, crafters and bakers selling their goods and good time to be had by all!
