World Snow Day is Saturday, January 21st and we are celebrating all weekend long at Castle Mountain Resort!
ALL WEEKEND LONG we’ll be offering up FREE Green Chair (Learning Area) tickets to guests of all ages. In addition, our Snow School will have ski and snowboard instructors cycling through our Green Chair / Learning Zone, offering informal and cost free instruction to those who are identified as needing a hand. Instructors will be on hand both Saturday + Sunday between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM.
Our volunteer Canadian Ski Patrol members will be hosting a fun race, on Saturday only, in the Green Zone. Registration will take place between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM with the races occurring between 11 AM and 1 PM. On Saturday as well, complimentary hot dog and chip lunches will be served on the stage within the day lodge. Limited to first 100 children only, lunch is served between 12 PM and 1 PM
Looking to try something new? Maybe you’re not a big ski or snowboard lover but you want to spend a day in the mountains? There’s more than skiing and snowboarding at Castle during World Snow Day Weekend.
Book in for our all new scenic snow cat tour, departing Saturday at 3:45 PM. See Castle in a whole new way with spectacular alpine vistas, tasty ridge-top treats, and our knowledgeable guides.
If you’re looking for something a bit more active, why not connect with our Snow School to book in for our Last Tracks Snowshoe Tour. You can bring your own snowshoes or rent some from our on-site rental shop. Both the Last Tracks Snowshoe Tour and our Scenic Snow cat tour include a scenic chairlift ride. 🙂
