We offer the younger set of our mountain community access to great seasonal programs and clubs. Whether your child is passionate enough to get competitive with the sport or just wants to build her skills and belong to a fun group, check out our options to see what fits.

Westcastle Ski Club
The focus of this long-running ski club is on fun, good sportsmanship, team spirit and healthy competition.  The positive attitude nurtured in this club encourages young athletes to embrace skiing and snowboarding as a life-long recreational activity.

WSC offers the following programs:

Nancy Greene
Ski development program for athletes aged 5 to 13.

Banditos
Higher level of development than Nancy Greene provides all mountain skiing for athletes aged 9-13.

Freeride
All-mountain ski program for athletes aged 11 to 18.

K1 Race Program
A racing program designed to help 11-12 year olds improve ski-racing techniques and assist them in reaching their personal goals.

K2 Race Program
A racing program designed to help 13-19 year olds improve ski-racing techniques and assist them in reaching their personal goals.

Junior FIS 

Advanced racing for 15 years and up.

Castle Mountain Freestyle

This on-hill ski club is the club for youth who want to ski bumps, hit the big jumps all over the mountain and the terrain parks.  Our club promotes a safe, positive and fun environment for skill development and it encourages young athletes to goes as far as they want both in the sport and in life.

CMFC (formerly Wild West Freestyle) offers the best club venue for a mountain freestyle club in Alberta.  We have both a designated air and mogul site that's closed to the general public. This provides us with an excellent training site for our athletes. 

JUMPS & BUMPS PROGRAM designed to introduce the FUNdamentals of freestyle skiing: bumps, jumps, terrain park skills and all mountain skiing.  Ages 6-11  

ONE DAY PROGRAM is designed for those new to the sport and non-competition skiers.  Learn mogul & jump skills and the confidence of skiing on steep terrain.   Progress from small jumps and low difficulty jumps to the air site and more difficult jumps.  Ages 11-18

TWO DAY PROGRAM is for Freestyle keeners and for those athletes who want to compete at a competitive level.  Athletes will progress in their jump level of difficulties and their confidence in both the moguls and the air site.  INVERTS are NOT permitted unless proper water and snow qualifications are met.  Ages 11-18

MID WEEK EVENING TRAINING at either Canada Olympic Park (Calgary) or Pass PowderKeg (Crowsnest Pass)  Geared to focus on Terrain Park Skills

FREESTYLE 5 PASS   Geared to letting the kids TRY Freestyle Skiing .  Buy a Freestyle 5 Pass and try out freestyle for 5 Saturdays!
