Three parks = freestyle happiness.
We have a PROGRESSION PARK with more new features for the 2011/12 Season. It is setup to get you comfortable in the air and on boxes & rails. Build up your confidence and skill levels so you can unleash them in the RAWHIDE Rail & Jump Park.
This season we are combining our jumps & rails into one Rawhide Slopestyle Park! The park will have a number of super fun feautres & jumps designed with the utmost care and attention to help send you flying & sliding into stokesville.
In addition to our new Slopestyle Park we are building a number of new boxes and unique features to add into the park as the season progresses.
Parking Lot Park(PLP) This little gem located in the parking lot looks after your nocturnal jib fix! It sports a fun street style jib setup under lights which can be ridden from 6pm till 11pm most nights.
Where is the park located? The Progression Park is located on Buffalo Flats. The Rawhide Slopestyle Park is located on lower Tumbleweed with access to the jump line from Upper Lone Ranger & access to the easier rails from Tumbleweed.
The Parking Lot Park(PLP) is located in the South East corner of the base area parking lot.
When is the Park open? Parks open as soon as we have enough snow to ensure safety. It is always a work in progress with features being added and changed throughout this season.
Check at Huckleberry Chair or Guest Services for opening times & conditions which change with the snow & weather.
How is the Park Designed? Castle Mountain's Terrain Parks are designed for riders by riders with a variety of rider abilities taken into consideration. Every rider level is taken into consideration when building the parks so that we have features to please the average Joe and big time pro. With the park crew at the helm of the snow cat and design, good things are sure to come.
