Nestled up against the newly created Castle Wildland and Castle Provincial Parks and at the base of Alberta’s second largest ski area, Castle Mountain Resort is a great place to call home.


Highly sought after, winter lessees may occupy their site from October 15 to April 15 annually. Spots are allocated on a first come, first serve basis and are located on the resort grounds in close proximity to wash house / dumping station, garbage disposal, ample parking, and all base area facilities (including the lifts)! Each site provides 20 amp electrical service and power is included in your seasonal rental fee.

How do I get on the wait list?

You can be place your name on the wait list by calling 888-SKI-TONS or 403-627-5101. A $100 deposit is required to put your name on the wait list.

How long is your wait list?

While the wait list length has varied over the years for our winter seasonal sites, we estimate the wait at 2 – 3 years currently. A non-refundable administrative fee of $100 is required to place your name on the wait list which will be credited towards the first year of your lease once a spot becomes available to you.

Are you planning to add more sites?

Castle Mountain Resort is currently working with the MD of Pincher Creek on a revised ASP or “Area Structure Plan”. Within this plan will be a provision for re-located and enhanced RV camping spaces, in addition to seasonal RV rentals being available during the summer season.

Overall we hope to add additional seasonal RV sites, in addition to other forms of accommodations.

Do you have an established quiet time?

Quiet time, between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, has been established to provide for evening enjoyment for all tenants / residents of Castle Mountain Resort.

Can I add a deck to my RV?

Only winter seasonal campers may add a deck to their RV. However, decks must be portable (non-permanent) and up to a maximum size of 4′ x 8′. Skirting is also permitted around the base of trailers but portable storage sheds, cook shacks, hot tubs, and porches are not permitted.

Is Castle Mountain Resort pet friendly?

Definitely but pets are required to be kept on a leash or tether at all times. Owners are responsible to pick up and dispose of any feces left by their pets.

Pets shall not be allowed to cause disturbances to residents or guests. Animals showing vicious or aggressive tendencies towards residents, guests, or other animals will not be permitted to return to CMR property.

Are OHV's permitted to be used?

Off highway vehicles are restricted to the immediate base area of the resort only and is not permitted on ski runs other than by resort maintenance employees.

Where exactly are your sites located?

Our seasonal RV camping sites generally border the south end of our main (south) parking lot, immediately adjacent to our base area facilities and the ski lifts. Most sites are well treed with an ample buffer between sites for some sense of privacy. There are also several sites bordering the east end of our main (south) parking lot which are more open without tree cover.
