DESCRIPTION:Castle Mountain Resort\, in conjunction with the Livingstone Ski Academy (LSA)\, is proud to present the Tom Tataryn World’s Longest Slalom Race. This is your opportunity to push yourself to compete in the longest slalom race in the WORLD! The race begins near the top of our lift serviced area and goes all the way down 2\,800 + vertical feet to the base. Should you finish you will have achieved an incredible feat you can take with you forever. Information is as follows:\n\nREGISTRATION –\n\n\n\n\nRegistration is $15 in advance of race day and for $20 on the day of\, should any spots remain available. Click the “Register Now” link to reserve your spot.\nPlease note that a bib deposit of $20 (CASH ONLY) must be paid upon check-in. This is to assist us with ensuring bibs come back to us. Once you return your bib your deposit will be returned.\n\nCATEGORIES –\n\nU12 (11 years of age and younger)\nU15 (12 – 14 years of age)\nU20 (15 – 19 years of age)\nU30 (20 – 29 years of age)\nU40 (30 – 39 years of age)\nU50 (40 – 49 years of age)\n50 + (50 years and older)\nThere will be a male and female category within each age categories\n\nSCHEDULE –\n\n8:00 AM – 10:00 AM\n\nDay of registration is available\, only if not already sold out\, at CMR Guest Services.\nPreviously registered participants can proceed to the Day Lodge stage\, where events staff will check you in\, accept your $20 bib deposit (CASH ONLY)\, and issue your bib.\n\n\n10:00 AM – 11:00 AM\n\nCourse inspection\n\nPractice running of the course is not permitted\nSlide into the course\, take a look\, and slide out\n\n\n\n\n11:00 AM\n\nRace start\n\nThere are no specific start times for competitors. DESCRIPTION:Castle Mountain Resort warmly welcomes U14 ski racing athletes\, from across Alberta and interior BC\, participating in Giant Slalom (GS) and Slalom (SL) races\, on January 25 & 26\, 2025. \nRaces will take place on the Lone Ranger run\, which will be closed to the public from Friday\, January 24 through to end of day on Sunday\, January 26.
