Castle Mountain Resort is pleased to present its new Master Development Plan (MDP), a long-term framework to guide the thoughtful evolution of the resort from a predominantly winter-based operation into a sustainable, four-season destination in southwest Alberta and the southern Canadian Rockies.

The MDP was prepared by Ecosign and funded by Travel Alberta, with input and collaboration from Castle Mountain Resort Inc., resort stakeholders, community members, and local partners. The plan builds on Castle’s history as a destination for winter recreation while exploring opportunities to expand and diversify year-round experiences, enhance visitor services and amenities, strengthen regional tourism, and support responsible access to the exceptional natural landscapes that surround the resort.

It is intended to serve as a conceptual roadmap rather than a fixed development program. Implementation will occur progressively over the long term and will be guided by market conditions, feasibility, environmental considerations, infrastructure capacity, regulatory requirements, community priorities, and available investment.
