DESCRIPTION:Keeping with tradition\, Castle Mountain Resort will have reduced operational hours on Christmas Day (December 25) with Huckleberry Chairlift\, Green Chair\, and Buckaroo carpet in operation. Lifts will spin from 11 AM to 3 PM with special hours in effect for all of our various resort departments. Special lift ticket rates are in effect including: \n\nHuckleberry Chair – \n\nAdult (18 – 64) – $85.95\nSenior (65 – 74) – $69.95\nJunior (13 – 17) – $52.95\nChild (6 – 12) – $36.95\n\n\n\nCastle Wonders of Winter (WOW) Card holders save 50% off these rates\, while Lake Louise Plus Card holders and Lake Louise Season Pass holders are eligible for 20% off. \n\nGreen Chair –\n\nAdult (18 – 64) – $31.95\nSenior (65 – 74) – $25.95\nJunior (13 – 17) – $19.95\nChild (6 – 12) – $12.95\n\n\n\nLake Louise Plus Card and Lake Louise season pass holders are eligible for 20% off of Huckleberry Chair rates. Join us from 6–9 PM for an easy-listening performance\, featuring a new musical artist every week! \nAlso Stronghold Draft will be on special ALL DAY! \nAbout this week’s artist: \nSinger/songwriter and awarding winning poet\, Noel grew up on a large cattle ranch in the Porcupine Hills of Southern Alberta.  Noel began his career at the tender age of 14 singing at the old time dances in small community halls.  He plays seven different instruments and writes his own poetry.  He has written two books and recorded a CD of original songs and a CD of his poetry and has preformed across Canada\, USA\, Mexico\, England and Australia.   He entered the 2019 Crossroads Cowboy Poetry competition in Bristow\, Oklahoma where he placed first!  Now retired from his career as a mechanic and millwright\, Noel entertains at senior homes and public and private functions.

DESCRIPTION:Castle Mountain Resort\, in conjunction with the Livingstone Ski Academy (LSA)\, is proud to present the Tom Tataryn World’s Longest Slalom Race. This is your opportunity to push yourself to compete in the longest slalom race in the WORLD! The race begins near the top of our lift serviced area and goes all the way down 2\,800 + vertical feet to the base. Should you finish you will have achieved an incredible feat you can take with you forever. Information is as follows:\n\nREGISTRATION –\n\n\n\n\nRegistration is $15 in advance of race day and for $20 on the day of\, should any spots remain available. Click the “Register Now” link to reserve your spot.\nPlease note that a bib deposit of $20 (CASH ONLY) must be paid upon check-in. This is to assist us with ensuring bibs come back to us.
