- Family rate eligibility is based on 3 or more members defined as at least one parent and related dependents living within the same residence.
- Tigers (5 & under) will not be included in the family count, but are eligible for discounted passes, under our individual pass rates.

SEASON PASS HOLDER BENEFITS
Castle Mountain Resort is a member resort of the Powder Alliance. Holders of unrestricted season passes, at Castle Mountain Resort, are able to ski up to three (3) free days at 20 additional premiere winter destinations across North America and beyond
Tickets are free Sunday – Friday (regular price on Saturday and during blackout periods) up to 3 free days per resort per season. Holiday periods are often blacked out at the discretion of the individual participating resort but typically include Memorial Day weekend, Family Day week / weekend and the Christmas holiday period. Please check with the participating resort prior to arrival to determine if they are on a black out period.

Validity
- 2024- 2025 season passes are valid only for the 2024-2025 season, tentatively expected to be December 6, 2024 to April 6, 2025.
- Unrestricted season passes are valid for 7 day / week, blackout free access.
- Restricted passes are valid for Monday – Friday access, excluding blackouts, for the 2024-2025 season.
- Blackouts in effect from Dec. 26, 27, 30, 31, 2024, Jan. 1, 2025, & Feb. 17, 2025.
Student Passes
- Students (18 – 29) must be enrolled full-time, during the winter term covered by the season pass, at an accredited Canadian College or University.
- CMR requires proof of full-time enrollment at an accredited Canadian college or university in order for passes to be issued. Valid documentation is as follows:
- Course Timetable
- Must be from the Office of the Registrar or printed from the school’s official website. If from the website, the school’s internet address must be clearly indicated.
- Clearly state the student’s name
- State the course length and the number of hours in a course of program per academic session
- Clearly indicate the semester of study or academic year
- Proof of Enrollment Letter
- Must be on the school’s letterhead
- Clearly state the student’s name

- All prices are exclusive of GST and are subject to change.
- Age cut-offs are based upon the age at time of purchase.
- Your season pass is for your personal use only. It is not transferable and is not available for resale.
- You are responsible for the use of your pass at all times unless it has been reported lost or stolen. You must report lost or stolen passes to Castle Mountain Resort Guest Services without delay.
- All pass holders must sign a release of liability prior to receiving their season pass. Those under the age of majority (under the age of 18) must have a parent or legal guardian sign on their behalf.
- Pass holders must show picture I.D with proof of age and address when picking up their pass. Students must show proof of enrollment (course timetable / letter from registrar) at time of pass pick up.
- All pass holders agree to respect all closures, posted signage, and abide by the Alpine Responsibility Code.
- Season passes remain the property of Castle Mountain Resort. Passes can / will be revoked by the resort, without refund, for breach of any of the terms laid out herein.
- A $29.00 administration fee may be charged to reissue any lost or stolen passes.
Purchasers of season passes have the option to pay for their season pass(es) with our interest free payment plan! All passes, with the exception of Tiger (5 & under) and Super Senior (75 +) passes, are eligible to be purchased under a payment plan which allows you to divide your purchase into three (3) monthly installments.
Our payment plan is available on all passes purchased on or by October 15, 2024. Purchases after this date must be paid in full, at time of purchase.

DO I STILL GET THE SAME PASS HOLDER BENEFITS IF I CHOOSE THE PAYMENT PLAN?
Yes. Enjoy all the benefits of being a pass holder whether you use the payment plan or pay all at once.
DO I HAVE TO USE THE PAYMENT PLAN TO PURCHASE A SEASON PASS?
No. You can pay all at once at time of purchase, if you prefer.
IS THERE AN INTEREST OR FINANCE CHARGE IF I USE THE PAYMENT PLAN?
No. There are no interest or finance charges. However, Castle Mountain Resort reserves the right to charge a $29 administrative fee, in order to re-instate your payment plan, in the event one of your payments is declined.
DOES MY SEASON PASS COST MORE IF I USE THE PAYMENT PLAN?
No. The plan spreads the actual cost evenly over three (3) consecutive months, without any additional charges.
HOW MUCH ARE MONTHLY PAYMENTS?
This will depend on when you make your purchase and on what passes you purchase. Monthly payments are equally divided over three (3) consecutive months.
WHEN DO I NEED TO PURCHASE BY TO GET ON THE PAYMENT PLAN?
The payment plan is available on pass purchases made before or by October 15, 2024. After that, purchases will need to be paid in full at the time of purchase.
WHEN WILL MY CARD BE CHARGED FOR PAYMENTS?
Your first installment is due at the initial time of purchase. Subsequent installments will be automatically charged to your credit card on the 1st day of each of the following two (2) months.
WHAT IF MY PAYMENT IS DECLINED?
You will receive an email telling you if the payment was declined. Please call our Guest Services team right away at 888-SKI-TONS (754-8667) to resolve the issue.
Castle Mountain Resort reserves the right to levy a $29 administration charge, to reinstate your payment plan, in the event of a declined transaction.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PASS?
Passes can be picked up at Castle Mountain Resort Guest Services, or at one of our off-site season pass printing days, regardless of whether or not you’re done making payments. Keep in mind that, if you do miss a payment, your pass will automatically be voided until any missed payments have been made.
WHEN CAN I START USING MY PASS BENEFITS?
Once you have received your pass you can use all the benefits that come with the pass.
CAN I PAY WITH CASH OR CHEQUE?
Unfortunately not. We only accept credit cards (Visa or Mastercard) on the payment plan.

IS THE PAYMENT PLAN AN OPTION FOR ALL SEASON PASS TYPES?

CAN I BUY TWO PASSES BUT ONLY HAVE ONE ON THE PAYMENT PLAN?
Yes, but if both passes are payment plan eligible, you will have to purchase them in separate transactions.

- There are no refunds of season passes, except in instances where season pass refund insurance has been purchased and certain eligibility criteria are met.
- Season pass insurance must be purchased at the time of initial purchase. It cannot be added onto your purchase at a later date.
- Season pass refund insurance carries a cost of $39 / individual or $99 / family, plus GST.
- Season pass refund insurance covers the following:
- Injury, illness, or death of an insured that prevents participation in skiing or snowboarding during the season.
- Transfer by the current pass holder’s employer necessitating a change of residence outside of a 300 km radius from Castle Mountain Resort.
- Season Pass Insurance does not cover:
- Intentional self injury.
- Pre-existing condition or disorders (unless the insured is hospitalized as a result).
- Acts of God, pandemics, fire, vandalism, labour disputes, weather conditions, or mechanical failures.
- Refund Calculation Methodology:
- Prior to Opening Day – 100% less the initial cost of season pass refund insurance.
- In Season – Passholders will receive a 1% refund for every day short of our 100th operational day, less the initial cost of season pass refund insurance.
- Refunds will not be issued to any guest making a request for refund on or after our 100th operational day of the season.
- The number of days skied does not factor into the refund schedule calculations.
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to CMR Guest Services.
- Refunds will be calculated from the date your written request is received.
