Castle Mountain Resort is a member resort of the Powder Alliance. Holders of unrestricted season passes, at Castle Mountain Resort, are able to ski up to three (3) free days at 20 premiere winter destinations in North America and beyond.
Tickets are free Sunday – Friday (regular price on Saturday and during blackout periods) up to 3 free days per resort per season. Holiday periods are often blacked out at the discretion of the individual participating resort but typically include Family Day (Memorial Day) weekend and the Christmas holiday period. Please check with the participating resort prior to arrival to determine if they are on a black out period.

Important Information For Powder Alliance Resort Pass Holders Visiting Castle Mountain Resort
First off, welcome to Castle! Our moto and mantra is Closer to Heaven, Down to Earth. We’re excited to welcome you to our resort and hope you enjoy your visit. Be sure to tell your friends just how awesome this place is (but not too many)! Please see below for information on how to get your ticket and applicable blackout periods.
How do I get my ticket?
Your first stop should be Castle Mountain Resort Guest Services. You’ll need to show us your season pass from your Powder Alliance member resort and a piece of government issued ID. We’ll log your visit into the Powder Alliance database, get you your ticket, and you’ll be on your way!
How much is my lift ticket?
If you are visiting us Sunday – Friday, you can get 1 FREE lift ticket per day up to a total of 3 FREE lift tickets / season.
Please note that you will not be eligible for a free or discounted ticket on Saturday’s or during any blackout periods.
When are your blackout dates?
Blackout dates applicable to those visiting Castle Mountain Resort, for the 2022-2023 season, are as follows:
- December 26, 2022 – January 8, 2023
- February 18, 2023 – February 26, 2023
