Season Extended!

Castle Mountain Resort, Alberta’s snowiest, to extend season; 2017-2018 season passes now on sale!

Castle Mountain Resort, AB – March 9, 2017

For Immediate Release

With 796 cm’s so far this season, Castle Mountain will be staying open until April 9th this year; a week later than originally expected. Below seasonal temperatures are in the forecast for the coming weeks and this, combined with the bountiful snowfall this season, has made season extension a logical choice.

“We’re ecstatic to be able to continue our winter operations, for an additional week” said Brad Brush, General Manager of Castle Mountain Resort. “We’re so grateful to all of our guests, particularly our season pass holders who came on board with us again this season. It’s important that we take this opportunity to thank them, and all guests, by keeping the lifts spinning for as long as is feasible”.

Alongside of season extension, 2017-2018 Early Bird season passes are now on sale. Highlights of Castle’s revamped pricing scheme include more flexibility with respect to family passes, reduced rates on mid-week passes, and deeply discounted college / university passes. Guests who purchase a 17-18  season pass will also ski or ride the remainder of this season for FREE. Early Bird pass rates are available online at https://www.skicastle.ca/passes/, or at Castle Mountain Resort Guest Services today through to May 31, 2017.

We are wondering what a corporate pass would cost for next season.

Will you only be open on the weekend or also on Friday, April 6th?

Hi, calling to see if you are open for skiing on Monday April 9, 2018. If so, what are the conditions for the day?

Thank you, looking forward to your response

      Hi Gerald,

Unfortunately we are now closed for the season. Hopefully we’ll see you back here in December or over the summer.
