The Castle Ski Lodge is Castle’s one and only hotel, featuring classic, hotel style accommodation, as well as dorm style accommodation. Rooms are true to style for Castle – comfortable, cozy, with the basic necessities.
While not exactly ski-in, ski-out, the Castle Ski Lodge isn’t far from it. The building is located about 100 meters of our base area lifts, our Day Lodge, and the T-Bar Pub, with ample parking available.

CHECK-IN
Check in time is 4 PM or later, on your date of arrival. Please check in directly at the Castle Mountain Ski Lodge.
CHECK-OUT
Check out is 11 AM or earlier, on your departure date.
EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT
- Any early check-in / late check-out requests must be approved in advance but cannot be guaranteed more than 24 hours in advance. Additional fees may apply.
- Late check-outs that do not allow enough time for the unit to be cleaned before 4:00 PM will be charged an additional night’s stay.
Booking / Cancellation Policies
Hotel/hostel bookings are considered confirmed once credit card info is provided. The entire balance for the stay is processed to the card on file 48 hours prior to check-in (at approximately 4 PM two days’ prior to arrival date).
Hotel/hostel room cancellations can be made up to 48 hours prior to check-in free of penalty. Any hotel rooms cancelled within 48 hours of check-in will not be refunded the total amount of nights that fall within the 48 hour period (eg if a 2-night stay is cancelled 24 hours before 4:00 pm on the check-in date, the guest will incur the full cost of 1-night’s stay. If cancelled the day of check-in, the guest will be charged for 2 nights).
Pet Policy
Pets are only allowed in designated pet-friendly accommodations and must be well behaved, house-broken, and must be kept off all carpeting and furniture. Any pets or sign of pets in non-pet-friendly accommodations will be subject to minimum charge of $250.00.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted inside any of the accommodations. Any smoking or indication of smoking inside the accommodations will result in a minimum charge of $250.00.
When smoking outside please fully extinguish butts and dispose of them in the receptacle provided.
No-Shoes Policy
Wearing outdoor shoes is not permitted inside any of the rental properties. For hotel rooms please remove outdoor footwear/ ski boots/ snowboard boots in the main lobby (shoes can be stored in the room if preferred), and in the cabins please remove them in the front entranceway to the unit.
Please do not wear ski boots inside the accommodations or hallways at any time, even if they are dry as they can damage the floors. Outdoor footwear of any kind worn inside the units may result in additional cleaning/damage fees. It is recommended that guests bring indoor shoes/slippers for use during their stay.
Lost Keys
The charge for lost keys is $50.00 per key. Only once the key is returned to the accommodations office can a refund of the fee be issued.
Quiet Times
All accommodations follow the MD of Pincher Creek Noise Bylaw quiet times, between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Located immediately to the left, upon entering Castle Mountain Resort’s main parking lot, at the end of the improved (paved) portion of AB HWY-774.
The Castle Ski Lodge also serves as Central check-in for any resort owned / managed properties.
