Castle Mountain Resort is proud to support organizations and causes that uplift the wellbeing of Albertans. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our donation guidelines, in order to ensure that your organization is eligible, before you apply.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

We are currently considering applications from Alberta-based, not-for-profit organizations, that are working to advance the following:

Accessibility and quality of outdoor recreation
K-12 school based extracurricular programming
Health and wellness initiatives
Environmental sustainability

Due to an overwhelming number of requests for support, we’re currently prioritizing support of initiatives, in alignment with the above, in southern Alberta. This region includes, but is not limited to Greater Calgary, Greater Lethbridge, Fort Macleod, and the South Canadian Rockies region (Town of Pincher Creek, MD of Pincher Creek, and the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass).

Organizations seeking a donation must be registered as a not-for-profit organization, in good standing (active status), in the Province of Alberta. Organizations that are successful in receiving a donation from us will not be eligible for subsequent donations for a period of one year from the date on which their last donation was granted.

We review donation requests once / month. Applicants must submit their donation requests a minimum of 60 days prior to the date of their event or initiative, in order to receive consideration.

INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS / INITIATIVES

In general, Castle Mountain Resort is unable to fund donation requests for:

Any organization other than a registered not-for-profit entity, in the Province of Alberta.
Individuals or individual pursuits
Political, lobbying, advocacy groups and associated activities or events
Religious activities
Individual sports teams or tournaments (except tournaments with the express purpose of raising funds for a not-for-profit)
Student or alumni associations
Scholarships & bursaries
Projects that would ordinarily be the responsibility of governments
