CASTLE MOUNTAIN SKI MOUNTAINEERING RACES
The Castle Mountain Resort Skimo Races are Jan 9-11, 2026, with the following event slated to occur:
- Vertical race
- 4:00PM on Friday, January 9, 2026
- Sprint race
- 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2026
- Individual race
- 10:00 AM on Sunday, January 11, 2026
A registration desk in the Barnaby Room (formerly Joe’s Cafe) will be open daily for bib pick ups, waivers, snacks. Awards will take place at 3 PM, on Sunday, on the CMR Day Lodge stage.
Athletes holding the annual 2026 Skimo Canada license do not pay the single event license fee. Athletes without the 2026 Skimo Canada annual license pay the single event license fee ($35.00). The single event license fee covers all three races over the weekend. License fees assist Skimo Canada with operational expenses.
The Castle races are the first stop on the 2026 Canada Cup Skimo Race circuit.
