TODAY'S REPORT
Castle Mountain Resort will be open for the season starting this Friday, December 5. Despite a warm and challenging fall, we’re thrilled to say that we’re opening on the date we’ve been targeting since we closed the book on last season!
We’ll be starting the season with the Green Chair and the Buckaroo Carpet, until further notice. While we know our terrain will be limited, we’re nonetheless excited to get this season going! Green Chair rates will be in effect, with WOW Card holders enjoying 50% off these rates until additional terrain is open and available.
Our outside ops team is continuing to make snow at every available opportunity and has shifted their focus predominantly to Lone Ranger and Round-up, on Huckleberry. Our goal is to get Huckleberry spinning as soon as we can, which may or may not happen this weekend.
Our Opening Weekend Food Bank Fundraiser is on the go this weekend. Castle Mountain Resort will donate $1 for every visit, Friday, Dec. 5 - Sunday, Dec. 7, to local food banks in our area. Proceeds will be evenly split between the Pincher Creek Food Centre and the Crowsnest Pass Food Bank, matched dollar for dollar by our friends at the Co-op Pincher Creek. Thank you Co-op Pincher Creek!
