The 53rd season of operations at Castle Mountain Resort is officially in the books. We are now closed for the 2018-2019 season.

This time of year brings with it a wide range of emotions for so many of us. For some of our seasonal staff, there’s excitement about returning home to family or perhaps about the summer adventures that lie ahead, in a foreign country.

For a select few on our year round team, the celebration of another season in the books is short lived. Planning for next year has already begun and December of 2019 will be here before we know it. The end of the season is hardly more than the end of a chapter in an otherwise lengthy book.

But most of all, there will be a sense of emptiness for us over the coming months without you, our guests. Castle isn’t the same without the constant sound of ski boots trotting through the lodge, the laughter of families skiing together, the hum of the ski lifts, and the WOO HOO’s so often heard on pow days.

Thank you to each and every one of you who shared a piece of the 2018-2019 season with us. The Castle is a magical place for so many of us and it is truly an honour and pleasure to share it with you. Your continued support means everything to us.

Hello. Is the ski hill closed ? Trip Advisor has you open today? Coming to this are May 2 and wondering if a day snowboarding is an option?

      Hi Sharon,

While our offices remain open, our ski lift operations are done for the season. Our closing day was on April 7.

      Sorry for the disappointment!
