FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WOW Card holders are eligible for 50% off regularly priced, full day / full mountain tickets. Your 50% ticket discount cannot be combined with any other discount (online, advance purchase discounts, for example).

In the event of reduced lift ticket pricing, card holders will enjoy 50% off regularly priced, full day / full mountain lift tickets.

Great question! The short answer is you come out ahead even if you only use your card for two days! Versus our window rate, here’s how much you’ll save:

Savings vary by age category. All savings above are based on multiplying the number of days skied by the discounted WOW Card ticket rate, plus the upfront cost of the card, versus regularly priced walk-up rates, for an adult aged 18 – 64.

While our original sale deadline was to be Dec. 24, we extended this to Dec. 31. No further extensions will occur and Dec. 31 will be the final day to buy a WOW Card, for the 25/26 season.

Adults, seniors, juniors, and children are eligible to have a WOW Card registered in their name. One card covers all eligible age categories; 6 – 74.

Most certainly! A direct-to-lift upgrade will link a card holder’s credit card to their WOW Card so they can skip Castle Mountain Resort Guest Services on subsequent visits. A picture, valid credit card, and release agreement / waiver is required to activate DTL privileges.

Upon the first scan at the base of a Castle Mountain Resort lift, the credit card on file is billed the appropriate 50% off rate, depending on the age of the guest. Subsequent, same day scans DO NOT result in additional charges.

Unfortunately not. Your WOW Card is non-transferable (to either another person or another season). It can only be used by one person throughout the season for which its valid. A card holder may only register 1 card per season.

No. WOW Card discounts cannot be combined or “stacked” with other discounts. Your 50% off WOW Card discount applies only to regularly priced, full day / full-mountain tickets, unless otherwise noted.

Unfortunately not. WOW Card discounts apply only on regularly priced, full day / full mountain tickets, unless otherwise noted.

WOW Cards are clearly marked as being non-refundable. No credits or exchanges will be issued under any circumstances.

Yes! WOW Cards can be mailed to card holders, in advance of the season! Here’s how:

  • Purchase your card directly from Castle Mountain Resort or activate your card purchased through a third party reseller, either online or over the phone.
  • Complete your WOW Card release agreement / waiver, credit card authorization, and upload your photo (sent to you via email immediately after purchase or activation).

You must complete all steps no later than November 15, 2025, in order for your card to be mailed to you, in advance of the season. Any card purchases / activations made after this date will be held for pick-up.

The short answer is, it depends!

If you’re buying directly from Castle, either online, via phone, or in-person, you’ll need to know who the card is for, at the time of purchase. The first name, last name, date of birth, and e-mail, of each card holder, is required at the time of purchase, at minimum. A credit card on file is also required for direct-to-lift (DTL) cards purchased.

If you’re not sure who the card will be for, and you want to keep your options open, visit one of our partner retailers and purchase a WOW Card voucher. Vouchers can then be given to whomever you want with the unique redemption code, on the back, unlocking a no additional payment required WOW Card, at time of activation.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • WOW Pass Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)
    • The following T&Cs apply to the purchase and use of the Castle Mountain Resort Inc. (CMR) WOW Pass. By purchasing or using a WOW Pass, you agree to these T&Cs:
  • Pass Formats
    • The individual named on the WOW Pass is referred to as the “Passholder”. The Passholder can elect to set up their pass for either: (a) direct-to-lift redemptions where a barcoded, photo identification card, valid for the entire season, is issued (the “WOW Direct-to-Lift Card”); or (b) ticket window redemptions where individual day tickets are purchased, at CMR’s on-site ticket windows, and the Passholder must present photo ID and payment each visit (no physical card is issued). Please note that to activate the WOW Direct-to-Lift Card option, a photo, valid credit card, signed Recurring Credit Card Billing Agreement, and a signed Release Agreement (Waiver) are required prior to, and as a condition of, the card being issued. Guests aged 6 – 74 are eligible to have a WOW Pass activated in their names. CMR reserves the right to suspend or cancel any WOW Direct-to-Lift Card in accordance with the terms of the Recurring Credit Card Billing Agreement.
  • WOW Pass Activation
    • WOW Pass Vouchers (“Vouchers”), purchased through third party vendors, must be activated before use. Vouchers can be activated online or at CMR Guest Services, although we recommend activating online for the best experience. To activate online, enter your unique Voucher code in the redemption code field, at shop.skicastle.ca, and follow the prompts to activate the WOW Pass of your choosing. A WOW Direct-to-Lift Card, whether selected when activating a Voucher or when purchasing a WOW Pass directly from CMR, will either be mailed or held for pick-up, depending on the status of the Passholder’s Release Agreement and Credit Card Authorization, and/or the purchase date. Passholders must provide their full name, date of birth, address, and email at time of activation.
  • Discount Terms
    • The WOW Pass, and the WOW Direct-to-Lift Card, do not grant the Passholder’s access to the CMR ski hill or lifts. Rather, the WOW Pass gives the Passholder the right to purchase one lift ticket per day, for themselves only, at the discounted rate set out below. The Passholder will receive a 50% off the regularly priced, full day, full mountain ticket for their respective age category (the “WOW 50% Discount”). The WOW 50% ticket Discount cannot be combined with any other offer or discount, including online, advance-purchase and early-season discounts. The Passholder may use their WOW Pass to purchase, for their own personal use only, one lift ticket per operating day at the applicable discount. There are no blackout dates, and the Passholder may use their WOW Pass once per operating day during CMR’s current winter season.
  • Release Agreement and Exclusion of Liability (Please read carefully)
    • For any Passholder that is issued a WOW Direct-to-Lift Card, all use of the WOW Pass, and the WOW Direct-to-Lift Card, are subject to the terms of the Passholder’s Release Agreement (Waiver). The Release Agreement can be reviewed at www.skicastle.ca/passes/.
Where a Passholder elects to use their WOW Pass to purchase day tickets (rather than direct-to-lift), the Passholder’s purchase and use of each day ticket is subject to CMR’s Exclusion of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Jurisdiction (the “Exclusion of Liability”) posted on CMR’s website at www.skicastle.ca/safety/ and at CMR’s premises. The Passholder agrees they have had the opportunity to review the Exclusion of Liability and further agrees that their purchase and use of all CMR day tickets using the WOW Pass are subject to the terms and conditions of the Exclusion of Liability.
  • Non-transferability / Revocability
    • The WOW Pass can only be used by the individual named on the pass. It is non-transferable and may not be sold, loaned, rented, or reassigned under any circumstances. A Passholder may only register one card per season. Passholders are responsible for the use of their WOW Direct-to-Lift Card at all times and CMR will cancel a Passholder’s WOW Pass if their WOW Direct-to-Lift Card is used by someone other than the registered Passholder prior to it being reported lost or stolen. CMR will cancel a Passholder’s WOW Pass if the Passholder is involved in a third party representing themselves as the Passholder at CMR Guest Services to use the Passholder’s WOW Pass to obtain a discount. Passholders caught skiing in a closed area or conducting themselves in a manner inconsistent with the Alpine Responsibility Code or otherwise violating CMR’s rules, may have their skiing / riding privileges revoked. Any revocation of a WOW Pass, any day ticket purchased using a WOW Pass, or any skiing/riding privileges, pursuant to these T&Cs will be without refund.
  • Lost or Stolen WOW Pass Vouchers or WOW Direct-to-Lift Cards
    • Inactivated lost or stolen Vouchers will not be replaced or refunded under any circumstances. Lost or stolen WOW Direct-to-Lift Cards may be replaced and may be subject to a replacement fee. The Passholder is responsible for reporting a lost or stolen WOW Direct-to-Lift Cards immediately to CMR Guest Services and remains responsible for its use until it is reported.
  • Refundability
    • All sales are final. WOW Pass Vouchers and WOW Passes are non-refundable and will not be rolled over to subsequent seasons. No credits or exchanges are available.
  • Any direct-to-lift WOW Card purchased or activated by November 15, which has a completed release agreement / credit card authorization, a valid mailing address, and valid credit card on file, will be mailed out prior to the start of the season. Cards purchased / activated after this date will be held for on-site pick-up.
  • Classic WOW Card holders do not receive a physical card. ID simply needs to be presented at our ticket windows, upon each visit, in order to enjoy your discounted lift ticket.
