Mackenzie Investments is looking for Canada’s most invested ski community and we think Castle Mountain Resort is the perfect fit!
Castle Mountain Resort is proudly community owned – rescued from possible closure in the mid 1990’s by Albertan and Canadian ski enthusiasts just like you. Some 25 years has passed since ownership changed hands and millions have been invested in our operations but there is still much to be done.
VOTE FOR OUR TEAMS
4 Castle based not-for-profits are vying for the $50 k prize. They are:
- Castle Freestyle Club
- Castle Mountain Community Association (CMCA)
- Livingstone Ski Academy
- Westcastle Ski Club
While each group has their own, unique needs, we want you to vote for them all. Contest rules are such that, all points go to the “peak” of Castle Mountain Resort. So long as we’re in the top 5 peaks at end of day on March 21, one of our teams will be considered for the grand prize!

Congratulations to your club on this feat. Our own club, while working really hard to get in the running, also had a lot of fun and it built our community spirit. I’m sure it was the same for you. Now it is in the hands of the judges for the final votes. Best of luck from Camp Fortune (Ottawa)
Any news on who won this contest?
Hi Chris,
Thanks for your message. We learned just yesterday that Mont Ste-Marie in Quebec has been crowned Mackenzie’s Top Peak. Their race club, Club Mont Ste-Marie, will take home the grand prize of $50 000. Thanks to you if you had voted / posted in support of our quest to become Canada’s Top Peak. We hope to see this contest happening again next year so that we can bring this prize to Castle!
All the best,
Cole Fawcett
